Day 1 Victoria Falls

Day 2 Victoria Falls

Optional kannst du die Victoriafälle besichtigen, Wildwasser-Raften, Kanu fahren oder einen Rundflug über die Wasserfälle machen

Day 3 Victoria Falls/Kasane

Grenzübertritt von Simbabwe nach Botswana. Optional kannst du die Tierwelt auf einer Bootsfahrt am Chobe oder bei einer Tierbeobachtungsfahrt in einem offenen Safariwagen im Chobe-Nationalpark beobachten

Day 4 Kasane/Nata

Rise early to the sounds of nature around you and travel south with your group to Nata. Drive through the verdant lands between Kasane and Nata. Turns out Toto knew what they were talking about because the rains in Africa are no joke. Rain brings life to the pans awakening the dormant fish and aquatic shrimps from the mud. The surrounding grasslands also teem with life and are home to many antelope, which attract a wide variety of predators. Keep your eyes focused as the world passes you by and then reward yourself with a group toast as you camp under the stars shining through the branches of ancient baobab trees

Day 5 Nata/Maun

Day 6 Maun/Okavango-Delta

Today is going to be busy, but fun! Travel to your basic bush camp in the Delta, then dive right into some nature with a wildlife walk. The cool thing about being on foot is that you will get to learn full immerse yourself in the environment of the bush.

Explore the Okavango delta in a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) to do some birdwatching. Head back to camp and simply unwind around the campfire. Cheers!

Day 7 Maun/D'kar

Kiss the shores of the Okavango Delta goodbye and head back toward civilization in Maun. Zoom through the western part of Botswana to D’kar; the heart of the Kalahari. Catch a glimpse of how the local San Bushmen adapted to the Kalahari Desert on an optional bushman walk. They will teach you about wilderness survival skills in a place that seems uninhabitable.

Then while the day comes to an end, enjoy the warm hospitality of the San Bushmen as the group will be staying at the G Adventures-supported Dqae Qare San Lodge & Camp. The best part? You are making a difference in the lives of this community just by enjoying your time at camp. So sit back, allow yourself to become immersed in their history and culture, sit around the fire, and simply enjoy the moment (can you say best camping spot yet?)

Day 8 D'kar/Windhoek

Day 1 Victoria Falls

Bitte vergewissere dich, dass du bis zum Begrüßungstreffen alle erforderlichen Visa für die Reise besorgt hast. Day 2 Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls ist ein toller Ausgangsort, um Naturwunder zu bestaunen und aufregenden Aktivitäten nachzugehen. Komm ganz nah an die spektakulären Victoriafälle heran (und werde dabei nass vom Sprühnebel). Optional kannst du auch ein Wildwasserrafting-Abenteuer auf dem mächtigen Fluss Sambesi erleben oder dich bei einem Bungeesprung mit Blick auf die Victoriafälle ins Vergnügen stürzen. Day 3 Victoria Falls/Kasane

You will stay over just outside of the park near the town of Kasane. This afternoon, take an optional wildlife safari drive in the park or an afternoon sunset boat cruise along the Chobe River - it's your best opportunity to view hippos, crocodiles, and many elephants wallowing in the water.

Day 4 Kasane/Nata

Wenn der Regen kommt, erwachen die Flussbecken zum Leben und aus dem Schlamm kommen schlafende Fische und im Wasser lebende Krabben zum Vorschein. Im umliegenden Grasland wimmelt es ebenfalls vor Leben und hier sind zahlreichen Antilopen beheimatet, die zahlreiche Raubtiere anziehen.

Day 5 Nata/Maun

Day 6 Maun/Okavango-Delta

Nachdem wir einen Teil unseres Gepäcks in Maun zurückgelassen haben, starten wir unseren aufregenden Ausflug in die Deltaregion und fahren etwa 1–2 Stunden (je nach Dock, das wir erreichen möchten) zum „Dock“. Hier steigen wir in ein Mokoro, ein traditionelles Einbaum-Kanu, das uns tief in die Deltaregion bringt. Nach ein paar Stunden in einem Mokoro erreichen wir unser einfaches Buschlager.

Day 7 Maun/D'kar

Wir reisen weiter durch den westlichen Teil Botswanas, das Zentrum der Wüste Kalahari, nach D'kar. Gewinne einen Eindruck davon, wie sich die San an die Wüste Kalahari angepasst haben. Lerne von lokalen Buschmännern auf einem optionalen „Buschmann-Spaziergang“ faszinierende Überlebenstechniken in der Wildnis.
