Itinerary
Day 1 Nairobi
Arrive at any time. Meet your CEO and group for a welcome meeting in the evening followed by an optional welcome dinner
Day 2 Nairobi/Tsavo
Travel by train to Tsavo on a railway known as The Iron Snake, in honour of an ancient tribal prophecy attributed to the Masai, Kĩkũyũ, Kamba and Kalenjin tribes in Kenya. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch along the way. Enter Tsavo East National Park for a safari drive before an included dinner back at the lodge. Known for its vast, untouched wilderness, Tsavo is home to the iconic “Red Elephants” that bathe in the local red-dust
Day 3 Tsavo
Awake at the lodge and enjoy breakfast before a morning safari drive back into the untamed wilderness of Tsavo East National Park. Return to the lodge around lunch time and take advantage of a free afternoon to relax by the pool. Or choose to book an optional afternoon safari drive. Dinner will be had at the lodge this evening
Day 4 Tsavo/Watamu
Experience one final safari drive through Tsavo East National Park on the way to Watamu. Along the way stop for a visit to the Archaeological site of Gedi. Get settled at the hotel before an included cooking class and dinner featuring East African classic dishes popular along the coast
Day 5 Watamu
Spend a full free day in Watamu, a small coastal town in Kenya. Known for the Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve. Sandy beaches, home to seabirds, Mida Creek, sand flats, and mangrove forests. Then, choose to visit a local ocean conservation project working to protect the area. Later this afternoon, choose to book the Dhow Sunset Cruise. The rest of the evening is at your leisure
Day 6 Watamu/Mombasa
Travel to Mombasa today where the tour ends upon arrival. Please do not book onward travel prior to 3pm
